Your location

Basic navigation does not require an account. Your browser asks permission before Jalanly uses GPS. Foreground navigation uses your location to show progress and request a new route when you leave the planned route. Guidance pauses when the page is hidden. Jalanly does not store a precise movement history.

Shared trips

Live sharing is optional and begins only when you explicitly start or join a shared trip. Jalanly stores each participant’s latest location and road ETA, not a movement history. Anyone holding the private viewing link can see shared locations. Stop sharing to remove your current location, or end the trip for everyone. Links expire after six hours; expired and ended trip records are deleted by scheduled retention cleanup. Updates require a visible, unlocked browser and a network connection.

Where information goes

Search text and optional nearby coordinates go to the configured Photon search service through Jalanly’s server. Route endpoints and stops go to the configured Valhalla routing service. Business optimization sends stop coordinates and constraints to the configured routing and VROOM services. The map tile host receives tile requests for the area you view. Font and map asset hosts may receive your IP address.

Account providers receive the information necessary to sign you in. Hosting and database services process account and business records. Production processors and hosting regions must be confirmed before public launch; Malaysian data residency is not promised.

Community reports

Public reports display the issue location, category, affected direction, times and observation counts. Contributor names, account IDs and fresh GPS evidence are not published. GPS evidence is checked during the request and is not stored as a movement history. Account-linked reports, observations and flags are retained for abuse controls and removed when reports expired more than 30 days ago are cleaned up. Withdraw your own mistaken report from its card.

Business payments

Stripe or PayPal hosts checkout and processes your payment details. Jalanly stores provider references, subscription status, paid-through dates and webhook event IDs for billing reconciliation. It does not store card numbers or PayPal passwords. Financial references may be retained after workspace deletion. Cancel recurring billing before deleting a workspace; pending approval and unexpired paid access must end first.

Information you save

Anonymous saved places and recent searches stay in this browser. You can delete saved places individually or clear browser storage to remove local information. Business organizations store members, drivers, vehicles, route plans, stops, delivery outcomes, recipient proof and earnings/expense entries. Authorized members can export routes and delete records. Workspace owners can delete the organization.

Retention and choices

Business records remain until removed by an authorized member. Invitations expire after seven days; sessions expire after seven days. Expired authentication records and old audit events are removed through the documented maintenance process. Backups follow the configured hosting retention schedule, which must be published before production launch.

You can revoke location permission in your browser settings and continue searching manually. No location analytics or advertising tracker is included. Contact hello@jalanly.com to request access, correction, export, or deletion of account information.
